We have some free seminars coming up this summer, and we would like to take this opportunity to invite you to attend one of these estate planning information sessions.
Many people don’t really think things through, and they are quite surprised and grateful when they attend a seminar. They learn some things about estate planning that they didn’t previously know, and they recognize that they would have made mistakes if they hadn’t gotten all the facts from a reliable source.
Our first seminar, which is going to take place on June 27 in Davenport, is going to be about special needs planning. Many people with special needs rely on government benefits like Medicaid and SSI. If someone who is in this position was to receive a large inheritance his or her benefit eligibility could be jeopardized.
There are ways to address this, and we will examine them in detail during our seminar.
The seminars that we are offering in July are going to be more general in nature, covering wills, trusts, advance directives for health care, incapacity planning, and other topics.
Once again we would like to emphasize that we are offering these seminars to people here in the greater Quad cities area absolutely free of charge. We do however ask that you register for the seminar that you would like to attend so that we can make the appropriate preparations.

We hope to see you in person over the summer!
